Reserve My Home charges the renter a processing fee of $39.99 charged at the time of booking. Any change or cancellation to a reservation or booking is subject to our terms of use.

A: What is a Property I.D. Number?

Use the Reserve My Home Property ID Number (for example, Destination, Keyword or Property Name) to quickly access your desired vacation home's profile at reservemyhome.com. You can also give this number to others in your party so that they can see the full description of the home.

A: How do I book a home?

If You Have a Property I.D. Number: Click "Book A Home" on the Homepage and enter the Property ID Number (for example, Destination, Keyword or Property Name) in the field in the top left corner and click "Search Now" to verify that this is the correct home. Click "View Details" to view the home's Property Profile. Click the green "Book Instantly" button to begin the easy booking process:

Step 1: Select your desired Arrival and Departure Dates
Step 2: Click the orange "Book it Now" button to view your statement and continue
Step 3: Confirm your total and click on the "Terms and Conditions"
Step 4: Enter your billing Information and confirm, you're DONE!

If you do not have a Property I.D. Number:
 Click on the tab at the top of the Homepage vacation rental Search, choose your criteria and click on either of the two green "Search Now" buttons to look for your perfect vacation home.  Select your home of choice by clicking on the blue View Details button to be directed to the property profile page of each home.  Click on the green "Book Instantly" button to begin the booking process.

When making the reservation, be sure you choose the correct arrival and departure dates, number of adults and children, and any pets (if allowed) you want to bring along as well as making sure all special needs are considered. The  field titled "Terms & Conditions" contains the rental contract you are agreeing to in order to book the property. In this contract will be all the details of the property.  This contract will also be included in the automatic email you will receive immediately after booking the property.   Our cancellation policy is strict and consistent, we prefer you have a great vacation and fantastic experience with us.

A: What information do I receive upon booking a home?

You will receive notification of the following:house
  • Owner contact phone number for entry instructions 
  • Reservation and payment confirmation
  • Check-in and check-out details
  • Your rental contract and fees
  • Detailed driving directions to your home
  • Reserve My Home's Terms of Use
  • The owner's vacation rental contract
All Homeowners and Property Managers must provide an emergency contact number in the event of an emergency.

A: How long does it take to book a home?

Just a few minutes!  Deciding where to go will probably take you longer! How long does it take you to enter your billing information and view your statement? All reservations are processed instantly unless ReserveMyHome must call to verify.  

A: Do you take security deposits on homes?

SECURITY DEPOSIT WAIVER:

Great News! Instead of paying a $300.00 to $800.00 security deposit for your rental home, you will find a small a non-refundable $30 security deposit waiver fee included in your invoice at booking. This fee must be paid at the time of booking and covers damage to the home up to $3,000.00.

Here are some of the details;

The security deposit waiver plan (SDW) protects you from theft or damage which results from an accident within the unit due to your inadvertent acts or omissions. The Security Deposit Waiver (SDW) Plan does not cover negligent or willful and wanton conduct.  For a full description of the plan, please refer to the enclosed Description of Coverage detailing full terms and conditions that apply.  If a Description of Coverage is not enclosed, contact the Reserve My Home for a copy.  You must notify the Reserve My Home of any damage or theft to the unit during your occupancy, or this plan is void.

If you decide not to purchase the $30.00 Security Deposited Waiver plan, a security deposit of ($300.00 to $800.00 estimate) will be added to the final balance and you must call us to make a reservation. A: What is Reserve My Homes' refund and cancellation policy?

Reserve My Home Refund And Cancellation Policy;

Reserve My Home refund and cancellation policy supersedes any and all refund and cancellation policies, by an Owner, Property Manager, Agent or User: all deposits and booking fees (less a 50% cancellation fee retained by ReserveMyHome, LLC) are refundable for all cancellations made 91 calendar days or more in advance of the arrival date. 

There are NO REFUNDS under any condition, circumstance, illness, or acts of nature (i.e. floods, weather, earthquakes, flight cancellations, etc.) for cancellations made within 90 calendar days prior to your arrival date.  There are no refunds for late arrivals and or early departures.

No cancellations fees will apply to reservations cancelled within 24 hours of the booking date.  To cancel your reservation without penalty you must send Reserve My Home an email to; cancel@reservemyhome.com which must include your Transaction Number provided in your reservation confirmation.  Otherwise, the reservation will be considered final and subject to cancellation fees.   NO EXCEPTIONS.

A: How do I know when my payment is due?

Full payment is due immediately if you book within 45 days of the first day of your reservation. For any reservation made 45 days or more in advance, the final payment will be due 45 days before the first day of your reservation.  Once you've completed the booking process, you will receive a confirmation via email (or mail) with the details of your stay, booked dates and total cost.  If you do not receive this email within 24 hours please contact us.

A: How do I find details on a home?

Every home listed with Reserve My  Home has a detailed property description with photos for your convenience. If you need further details (every home will have a different rental contract, click here for example), please use the "Email Reserve My Home" form on the Property Profile page.

At the time of your paid reservation you will receive the owner or property manager contact information. They can usually help you with the following:

  1. front door key or lock box access
  2. gate codes and any other access details
  3. travel arrangements
  4. convenient airports
  5. car rentals
  6. parking requirements
  7. parking passes
  8. pre-arrival instructions
  9. special home details
  10. check out procedures
  11. 24/7 contact name and emergency telephone number

A: How do I access the property? 

Each property will vary. Some Owners will prefer to send you a key in advance, some may live nearby and will leave a key for you, some may arrange for a representative to meet you on the property.  Most homes will have lock boxes that are opened with a code given to you by the Owner prior to your stay. 

Tip:   Emergency contact phone numbers are located at the top of the "Rental Contract."  You will receive notification of the check-in and check-out details, your rental contract, detailed driving directions to the home, and Reserve My Home's Terms of Use. Reserve My Home requires all homeowners and property managers provide an emergency contact number in the event of an emergency.

A: How will I receive check-in details? 

Reserve My Home will send you a confirmation email of your booking details immediately after you finish the booking process.  Please review the Rental Contract, which outlines your dates and times for checking in and out as well as the property owner's requirements. You will also receive:

  • Owner or Property Manager's emergency contact phone number
  • Check-in and check-out details
  • Your rental contract and fees
  • Detailed driving directions to your home
  • Reserve My Home's Terms of Use

A: What if I damage the home?

In the unfortunate instance that the home is damaged during your stay, please contact the Reserve My Home staff. If there is blood, flood or fire please call 911 immediately. In most cases, your 'Security Deposit Waiver' Plan will cover light damage to the home unless you declined the waiver at the time of purchase.

A: What if I get lost and you're closed?
